Nick joined Zilka-Kotab in 2011 while finishing his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University. During his time in school there, Nick was a leader of a research group testing photovoltaic optimization devices on solar panel arrays and co-authored a scientific conference paper which was admitted to the 2011 ASME Energy Sustainability Conference & Fuel Cell Conference. Nick has experience in a broad range of technical areas including, but not limited to, photovoltaic array management and optimization, non-linear transmission lines, integrated circuit design, electromagnetics, quantum mechanics, and communication systems. Nick is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Nick also received his J.D. in May 2016 from Santa Clara University School of Law, focusing in the school’s top-ten ranked intellectual property curriculum. For this performance, Nick was awarded a High Tech Law Certificate, accompanied by an Intellectual Property Specialization, with honors.
